CDD Ltd were appointed to complete the RC Detailing for the full concrete frame for this new campus building.
This long standing client came to us as the University of West England were forging ahead with their exciting developments at the Bower Ashton Campus in the south of the city.
Their plans included the demolition of three of the current blocks at Bower Ashton Campus and the addition of three new three storey buildings that were to house both Digital Media and Physical Making Resources.
The refurbishment of the remaining blocks included the development of a student hub and the entire site was to benefit from improved vehicle, pedestrian and cycle access and related facilities. There was also to be a student hub to bring together catering, retail, Students Union, Student Support Services, Library, and IT support, and a new entrance supports the Drama facilities, giving students the potential to offer public performances in an easy-to-reach space.
This was a client we’d worked with on many projects of a similar nature so it’s always great to be asked to continue to work with clients we enjoy.
