The University of Manchester embarked on a £1 billion ten year plan to create a world-class, single campus for their students, staff and visitors. As part of this, MECD aimed to deliver a sense of vibrancy by consolidating and welcoming the four engineering Schools into the heart of the campus. We love seeing large projects like this come to life, so it’s always a pleasure when clients we’ve worked with over such a long period of time come back to us for the RC Detailing on their projects. The new engineering campus was to provide a range of modern facilities in a bespoke environment, to support the excellent research, teaching and learning in the 21st century and we loved being a part of that.
