CDD Ltd were appointed to undertake all of the substructure RC Detailing for this development which was being created by one of our long standing clients.
The University of Bristol development included academic teaching space and a student village designed to accommodate 1,500 students, as well as a gym and health centre. In addition, the world’s first open access Quantum Technologies Innovation Centre was being built. The project provided an extensive public realm focused on improving neglected areas of the harbour, creating new cycle paths and walkways, public spaces, cafes and other facilities.
There are often logistics to bear in mind with modernisation or regeneration so we loved that the variety of aspects within this project drew upon a selection of our skills.
